The Honey soap – thanks to high content of amino acids, honey is excellent ally of dry and damaged skin. Since the old times, people have known that honey soothes and regenerates an irritated skin. Honey is useful for skin in manifold ways, since it has the ability to attract water in order to maintain skin moisture, as well as to provide nutritious ingredients. One of great challenges for women is that skin remains tight, firm and moisturized, in spite of drying caused by high temperatures and dry air.

Honey helps the skin to preserve moisture, nourishes and protects it. In cosmetics, honey takes an exceptionally important place, since it represents one of the oldest, most reliable and completely harmless means of beautification. It also has an antiseptic effect, since it contains numerous antimicrobic agents which destroy bacteria. Regular use during showering and daily face washing revitalizes and nourishes the skin, leaving it velvety soft, elastic and moisturized.

Problematic skin

Improper skin care along with other external effects such as polluted air, heavy make-up and smoky premises lead to the clogging of pores, which causes additional inflammatory processes on the face, such as acnes, pimples, skin flaking and redness.

The four most common causes of appearance of problematic skin are as follows:

  1. Hormones – hormone androgen stimulates sebaceous glands to intensely produce sebum.
  2. Nutrition – which contains a lot sweet and fried food.
  3. Stress – may stimulate the body to produce certain hormones and increase the level of harmful toxins.
  4. Poor skin care – rubbing, scratching and squeezing and any other poor cleaning of the skin.

The soap is recommended for the treatment of acnes and blackheads in youth. It is also ideal for daily massage when showering for the treatment of all skin areas prone to acnes (the face, back, shoulders, cleavage and other zones). A remark: after using the soap, the treated skin may sometimes turn red for about twenty minutes, which is in fact just a result of the desired effect of the soap, in the sense of improving the microcirculation, opening pores and removal of excess oil from the skin surface.

Dry skin

The dry and dehydrated skin requires a special attention, since the dry skin is also prone to other problems, since it is more sensitive than the normal skin. Dehydrated skin is a frequent phenomenon, especially during winter. The skin becomes dry when lacking sufficient moisture, more precisely when sebaceous glands do not produce enough oil. Due to a lack of moisture, the skin starts to prickle, tighten, and due to excessive sensitivity - the spots, cracked parts and even flaking may appear, and in this condition, the skin is much more prone to skin diseases than the healthy hydrated skin.
