Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic, genetically determined, auto-immune disease which is characterized by frequent episodes of relapses (deteriorations) and remissions (improvements), and it is manifested in various clinical features. Most common form is the so-called ordinary psoriasis (psoriasis vulgaris), with typical appearance of redness, and skin thickening which is covered by silver-white, bran-like and dry flakes. Most commonly, the changes appear on the elbows, knees, scalp, trunk, but they may also appear on any other body part. In case of psoriasis, this process is much accelerated and it lasts only several days, which results in the appearance of flakes.

Recommendation

For the initial level of psoriasis, we recommend the skin treatment with natural argan oil which represents the mixture with oil of avocado, almond, vanilla and aloe vera. The oil contains a high level of vitamins, minerals and fatty acids, the combination of which beneficially extends the effect. It is enriched with ferulic acid, essential fatty acids, carotenoids, antioxidants, sterols and sapos.

Hyperpigmentation

Besides the therapeutic approach to the treatment of certain skin diseases such as eczemas, psoriasis and pigmentation on the skin, we recommend 100% pure argan oil as an additional treatment, i.e. the care for damaged skin prone to changes. Hyperpigmentation – appearance of dark spots on the face is most commonly a consequence of so-called melasma that mainly appears on the forehead, cheeks, chin and upper lip. Besides that, the so-called post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation may appear on the face and on other body parts, where the accumulation of pigment is a consequence of an earlier skin disease (for instance acnes, eczemas, lichen planus etc.), and it is often associated with the later sun exposure.

For morning the treatment of skin, we recommend the coffee & clove soap. The soap helps in treatment of local changes on the dry and mixed skin. The clove essential oil has an antibacterial and antifungal effect, thus it is recommended for the treatment of spots on the face which occurred as the consequence of previous skin diseases. It helps healing of sores and cracks on the skin. For the evening before going to sleep, we recommend the facial treatment with 100% pure argan oil that prevents drying and maintains the skin elasticity.

Acnes

Most often acnes appear in young people during and after puberty and then they affect both genders equally, while in later years they appear significantly more often in women. The primary, but not the only reasons for that are the hormone changes that occur during monthly cycle in a female body. Apart from puberty and secretion of hormones, the following may be the reason for appearance of acnes and pimples: improper nutrition, insufficient or inappropriate hygiene of skin and even stress. Acnes are caused by hormones, the level of which increases during adolescence. After several years, pustules disappear, even without treatment, while in case of acne, more attention is needed as well as dermatological treatment.

For a proper treatment of problematic skin and acnes, we recommend the poppy & cinnamon soap which is primarily intended for problematic skin. Regular use of soap and its beneficial ingredients of the cinnamon essential oil and the poppy seeds have soothing effect, boost circulation and help removal of dead skin cells. When it comes to the treatment of skin with acnes, the affected parts need to be gently rubbed directly with soap and rinsed with cold water, in the morning and in the evening. Treated skin may became red-hot or red due to the use, during about twenty minutes, which is in fact the result of a desired effect of soap, in the sense of boosting the microcirculation, opening the pores and removal of excess oil form the skin surface.

Seborrhea

Seborrhea is a disorder in the functioning of sebaceous glands, i.e. intensified secretion of fat in the areas where sebaceous glands are the most numerous and the densest. It is reflected in the skin redness followed by flaking. When the surface inflammation is more visible, then it gets name seborrheic dermatitis.

Atopic dermatitis

Young mothers often ask questions related to atopic dermatitis, so we explored the causes of its appearance, symptoms and the treatment. Atopic dermatitis is a very frequent form of skin inflammation. It appears often in persons prone to allergies, most often in little children, usually around the third month of life, and it affects 10-20% of children worldwide. If you heard of the terms such as: eczema, neurodermatitis and endogenous eczema, this is the same disorder. It is important to highlight that atopic dermatitis is not contagious, thus if nothing else, you may feel relieved when it comes to other household members. Nobody can say with certainty how and why it develops. It is presumed that this is the error in the immune system, but the causes that may trigger the appearance of disease are not established completely and are not the same for different patients.

Unfortunately, it appears most often in newborn babies in form of changes such as redness, small blisters with clear or purulent content, the dry and chapped skin. Most often the following body parts are affected: the face, scalp, back part of neck and joint creases, but disease may extend also to whole body. The disorder may withdraw around first, third or seventh year of age or in puberty.

When it comes to cosmetics, as supplement in treatment, use exclusively the natural soaps and natural creams, since thereby you sanify inflammatory processes and reduce additional skin irritations. Baby cream is made of 100% natural mixtures of organic butters and best quality natural oils that balance ratio of moisture with lack of oil and it is very quickly absorbed in skin, leaving necessary wax protective layer that prevents further drying and helps to defend from unfavorable external influences.

Eczemas

Besides the therapeutic approach to treatment of certain skin diseases such as eczemas, psoriasis and pigmentation on skin, we recommend 100% pure argan oil as additional treatment for the care for damaged skin prone to changes. In continuation we talk a bit more about eczemas as changes on the skin, how they appear and how they are treated. Eczema is one form of dermatitis – the skin inflammation. Most often it is a very unpleasant skin disease. It got its name according to Greek word ekcema, which means to cook. Eczema appears in many forms, some are acute, and some are even chronic. Depending on the form, it is characterized by the red skin parts, and sometimes by wet blisters, that usually itch a lot and are flaky. Eczema is a constitutional disease and real reason of the appearance of eczema is body's impossibility to get rid of toxins, which accumulate in the skin pores.
